So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
- John 20:21
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
-1 John 4:17
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
-Ephesians 4:4-6
The cross is the center piece of God's plan for salvation and redemption. Our atonement has been paid for by the blood of Jesus. Through His death and resurrection, we enter into everlasting life.
See: Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15; Revelation 5
Without Holy Spirit we can do nothing. He is God and it is by His empowerment that we live a life that looks like Jesus. He has endowed us with gifts that bring the reality of the cross into this age with power and demonstration.
See: John 5:19-20; John 14, 15, 16; Acts 1, 2; Romans 8:14
The Word of God is the standard by which we live and judge all things. It is also the litmus test for all supernatural encounters and outworking.
See: 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119: 41, 105, 130; Hebrews 4:12; John 1:1-4, 14
God is love and we must become love in order to represent Him well.
See: 1 Corinthians 13; 1 John 4:8-5:5
Grace is absolutely essential to the Gospel and it is a vital cornerstone of our ministry. Without grace none of us would be here. Grace empowers us to live in righteousness and power; it is never a license to sin.
See: Romans 5, 6; Galatians 2:16-3:9
Jesus' earthly ministry was marked with power. The book of Acts records that power also distinguished the ministry of the early church. We hold to that standard of demonstration through the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the in-breaking of the kingdom of God.
See: 1 Corinthians 2:5, 4:20, 12; Acts 10:38
God is a God of covenant and we, as His people, are a people of covenant. Relationships are of eternal value to God. We hold that same value.
See: Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:14-22; John 13:1-17
Jesus has restored us back to the Father and we are a people that believe in the restoration of relationships, regions, and nations. Forgiveness is absolutely key in how to move into the fullness of relationship with the Father and is the mode of how we are to move in relationship with one another.
See: Matthew 6:15, 18:35
To be pure in heart and motives is the standard to which we hold. Jesus is the model and we are being transformed and conformed to the likeness of His image.
See: John 14:30; Romans 8:29
Jesus is returning for a spotless and pure Bride. To represent His heart we believe that we must love His Bride into her fullness with His heart to see her become all she has been called to be. We believe that the five fold ministry grace not only empowers and trains but also imparts these graces to the Body which is His Bride.
See: Ephesians 4:1-16, 5:22-23; Romans 1:11; 1 Corinthians 12
It is the mandate of heaven to win for the Lamb the reward of His suffering, to paraphrase the Moravians.
See: Matthew 18:11; Luke 19:10
